Leytonstone
Set within a Victorian terraced house in Leytonstone, this full renovation and rear extension is defined by its architectural rigour and material honesty. A new extension board-marked concrete with warm timber detailing, creates a light-filled kitchen and dining space that opens directly onto the garden, dissolving the boundary between inside and out. Tactile materials run throughout: hand-laid terracotta brick floors, zellige tiles, limewashed walls and a custom arched walk-through wardrobe in dark fluted timber. The result is a home that is quietly ambitious, precise in its architecture and warm in its feeling.
